TRS: How's The View From Up There?
The debt ceiling issue has revealed the true nature of many individuals who I once believed were advocating for what's right. Regrettably, it seems that these individuals have demonstrated their loyalty to the Democratic Party above all else, even to the detriment of their personal beliefs and principles.
They have shown themselves to be political opportunists who will compromise their values in order to maintain their position within the political arena. Unfortunately, the burden of student debt and an impending recession is set to hit those of us at the bottom much harder than those who will benefit from the interest income channel, which may falsely indicate no recession at all. To make matters worse, many individuals will be forced to undertake risky endeavors just to scrape by.
